Events must meet these requirements to qualify as an RPE
- Organized by a Chapter Ambassador and hosted between May 8th and June 2nd, 2025
- The event must be officially registered on the platform
- All teams must pitch their apps live
- Minimum of 3 judges
- Minimum of 8 teams in the Junior Division OR Minimum of 8 teams in the Senior Division OR minimum of 8 teams in the Beginner Division
What if I have 8 teams in one division, and less than 8 in another division?
The division with the required number of teams (8 or more) will be scored at the judging event and eligible to advance to the semifinals. The division with fewer than 8 teams can still participate/receive feedback but will be judged online by our virtual judges.
For example, if there are 8 Senior Division teams and only 5 Junior Division teams, only the Senior Division teams’ scores will be judged at the live pitch event. The Junior Division team will be scored online and any scores given to them at the RPE will not be official for the competition.
What if I have a total of 8 teams, but from mixed divisions?
This is NOT considered an official Regional Pitch Event. It will be considered an unofficial Celebration Event. This means that official scores for these submissions will be provided by our virtual judges and not by any live judges attending the event.
A minimum of 8 teams in at least ONE division is required for the scores of attending teams of that division to be officially received from an RPE. For example, if 5 junior division teams participate and 5 senior division teams participate, this is considered an unofficial Celebration Event and all teams will receive their scores via virtual judging (and NOT the Celebration Event).
