How will teams at RPEs be chosen as semifinalists?

• Between 8 to 10 teams participating = 1 top-scoring team will move to the next round.
• For 11-20 participating teams = 2 top-scoring teams will move to the next round.
• For 21-30, the 3 top scoring teams will advance, and so on.

Judges for these events will be required to submit their scores online by the end of May/early June 2025. Students attending an RPE must select their city event during submissions.

If fewer than 8 teams can make it to the event, it will become a celebration event and the scores will not be taken into consideration for the global competition.
