Creating a team: If you are joining Technovation with a team, you will need to make sure that all team members (maximum of 5) create student accounts on my.technovationchallenge.org and complete their onboarding steps. You will also need to create a mentor account on my.technovationchallenge.org. Before you can officially join the team, you need to complete the mentor onboarding steps. Once you have completed these steps, you will be able to create your team.
Finding a team: First, sign-up on my.technovationchallenge.org and complete the necessary onboarding steps. Make sure to fill out your profile! Once complete, you will be able to find a team and can search by location to find available teams near you. You will then need to send a request to the teams that you are interested in mentoring. Include a personal message and don't be discouraged if a team does not respond, they may already have a mentor that has yet to sign up.
Need to remove a mentor from a team? Go to 'build a team' and click on the team profile. You will then be brought to the team's profile page where you can view students and mentors on the team, as well as the team summary, location and division. Click on the mentors tab to view all mentors on this team, then click 'remove this member' written in red under the mentor's picture and name to remove them.
