How do I submit my parental and media consent?

⚠️ To register for Technovation Girls, all students must have their parent/guardian give consent officially to compete in Technovation. Consent to participate is REQUIRED while media consent is optional.

The process for submitting consent forms will differ depending on whether or not your parent has an email address. Select the option that best describes your situation:

1. My parent has an email address & internet access
2. My parent does not have an email or doesn't have internet access

If your parent has an email address & internet access:

After you sign up for a student account on our platform and provide your parent/guardian's name and email address, your parent/guardian will receive an email from Technovation.

Step 1: They will need to click the "Sign The Forms" button:

Step 2: They will be directed to the “Consent to Participate form”:

Step 3: After reading the form, they must scroll down to the bottom and fill out their names. Yours will automatically be entered. 

Step 4: Click “I agree” button to continue:

Halfway there! Welcome to the Media Consent form

Step 5: Select an option.

👉 Please note, media consent is optional. Not granting permission will not affect a student's participation in Technovation Girls.

Step 6: Fill out parent’s name here to sign.

Step 7: Click “Submit” to complete

🤩 Congratulation! Your parent consent form is completed!

Your parent will then receive a signed copy of their consent form via email.

You can check your complete status on your dashboard:

 

If your parent does not have an email address or internet access:

Step 1: Go to the Parental Consent section

Step 2: Download the Parental Consent Form and Media Consent Form

Step 3: Print and sign OR Digitally sign the 13 pages of the Parental Consent Form after reading the form

Step 4: Upload a PDF of the signed Parental Consent Form or image of the printed and signed form

Halfway there! Let’s move to the Media Consent Form!

Step 5: Print and sign OR Digitally sign the 13 pages of the Media Consent Form after reading the form

Step 6: Upload a PDF of the signed Media Consent Form or image of the printed and signed form

Step 7: Click Upload!

Your Parental Consent section will be marked as completed after Technovation approves your forms. Your submission will be reviewed in a few days by our team!
